Over 20,000 have died after this week’s earthquake in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria. This figure is set to rise due to the dire conditions that survivors are living in.
Many of our supporters have asked how they can help the situation. Teams4U do not have partners in Turkey or Syria and therefore are unable to supply relief. As a small team, we are focusing our efforts on our ongoing projects so that we can maintain the quality of our work. However, we have worked with the Red Cross in Georgia and Bosnia and know that they do fantastic humanitarian work. We would encourage our supporters who want to help those affected by the earthquake to donate to the Red Cross, who are working in conjunction with the Red Crescent in Turkey and Syria.
