Cracking Success! Teams4U’s Easter Egg Appeal for Ukraine 2024
This year’s Easter Egg Appeal for Ukraine has been a resounding triumph! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we’ve collected over 6,000 delicious chocolate treats that were sent to children in Ukraine.
This campaign follows the phenomenal success of last year’s initiative, where we delivered a staggering 10,000 Easter eggs. This year, we aimed to build on that achievement and spread even more joy to Ukrainian children facing immense challenges.
Your overwhelming response has blown us away! The outpouring of Easter eggs symbolises far more than just a sweet treat. It represents a message of hope, solidarity, and a reminder that these children are not forgotten.
Just like last year, the eggs will be delivered to children from the Mariupol region, an area heavily impacted by the ongoing conflict. These children received shoeboxes at Christmas, and Easter eggs will bring another reason to smile.
Why so late?
Many Ukrainian’s celebrate Orthodox Easter and that is a month after we celebrate in the UK.
