Teams4U Shoebox Appeal 2023: Spreading Cheer
Teams4U’s annual Shoebox Appeal wrapped up another successful year in 2023, bringing festive joy to countless vulnerable children and families. Throughout the campaign, generous individuals filled shoeboxes with essential items, toys, and treats, creating personalised gifts that brightened spirits during the holiday season.
64,045 shoeboxes left the UK and headed to Romania, Bosnia, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine.
Reaching Those in Need:
The donated shoeboxes were distributed through established partnerships with schools, nurseries, hospitals, and orphanages. This approach ensures the gifts reach children who may not otherwise receive a present. Teams4U emphasises building long-term relationships with these communities, fostering a spirit of care and support that extends beyond the holiday season.
A Gift That Goes Beyond Christmas:
While Christmas cheer is at the heart of many of the donations, the shoeboxes provide more than just temporary joy. Essential items like toiletries and school supplies offer practical benefits that contribute to the well-being of children throughout the year.
