Teams4U was officially founded in 2006. The first volunteer team held a sports camp in Liberia helping young people to make good choices regarding drugs and alcohol and teaching about HIV and AIDS. In 2006 Teams4U also began working with Ben Omoding in Uganda and with Dima Natchyna in Belarus, supporting his work with children in care.
