2021 update. Thanks to your generous support, we managed to raise £2100 which has fully covered the cost of the project!

In addition to the annual shoebox campaign Katya and Dima support the orphanages in other ways through regular visits and summer camps for the kids.

Last year they raised enough money to buy a polycarbonate tunnel and some tools for one of the orphanages to grow salads and vegetables. Not only is it good to be able to have fresh vegetables but it also teaches helpful agricultural skills that may be beneficial when they become old enough to leave the orphanage.

How you can help

We would like to help them raise enough money to purchase another 3 tunnels, one for each orphanage they support. In addition to the tunnels each orphanage will need 2 wheelbarrows, 4 rakes, 4 spades and a 50m hosepipe.

The costs are as follows:

Tunnels £600 each = £1800 (including the following tools)

Wheelbarrows x 6

Rakes x 12

Spades x 12

Hosepipe 50m x 3
