Belarus Update Summer ’24

Below is a report from our partners in Belarus; Dear friends and partners! We are glad that together with you we can help orphans and families who find themselves in a difficult life situation. This year we visited orphan schools 120 times, where we tried to give children hope and improve the quality of life of orphans. During this year, we managed to organize the delivery and distribution of necessary clothes and personal hygiene products, as well as collect textbooks and books that help children in their studies. From June 17 to June 25, we held a summer camp for orphans in Rudensk. 146 children participated in this camp, and a rich program was organized for them. In addition, the greenhouses that we purchased together brought not only a generous harvest, but also became a place of learning for more than 25 children every year. They learned how to grow vegetables and take care of plants. This knowledge will help them in the future, because many kids after graduating school will return to the villages for work and life. In the new academic year we organized cooking club lessons where children learn how to cook. This will help them and their family in the future. At the Rudensky school, children are taught to sew on sewing machines, which may become a profession for them in the future. Our meetings help children integrate better into society, because the acquired skills give them confidence and a basis for further development. We also provide support to graduates of schools, helping them with the arrangement – we provide dishes, clothes, pots and other necessary things, as well as products. We help orphans integrate into society. We influence the lives and destinies of more than 320 children every week and thanks to your support, especially during this difficult time, we can continue our service to orphan children. Thank you for that!
